DeHealth is a Medical Data Bank in a decentralized Web application (dApp) and Data Storage on AI & and Blockchain-based for safe and anonymous storage, management, and monetization of depersonalized health data.

How did the idea of creating the project come about?

Every child in the world has their dreams, so it turned out that our dreams with my partner Denys Tsvaig turned out to be common. Since childhood, we dreamed of creating our own “Elixir of Life” that would prevent diseases and death of people. In 2019, we began to realize this shared dream and created our “Elixir of Life” from technological components. The idea was to create a platform as a single entry window to the digital world of medicine, which would prevent diseases with the help of data analysis and help everyone on the planet to live longer and happier, additionally receiving income by selling their medical data for the development of science and medicine.

Our goal was to use the latest technologies in artificial intelligence, genetics, and data analysis to provide personalized medical solutions for each person. Now DeHealth is an international company with HQ in the UK and R&D in Israel, the USA, and New Zealand.

Which includes platform software, a decentralized application with data storage, revolutionary research, and development.

Everyone needs quality and verified data; medical data is the most valuable. Their cost sometimes exceeds $1000 for one medical profile.

The healthcare industry and the HealthTech market are slow to respond to innovation, but our TAM (Total Addressable Market) is $250 billion.

DeHealth solves the problems that its founders faced before its creation. It allows users to have all their medical data wherever they go, saves time and money, and makes life easier. It also provides an intelligent digital assistant to give health tips and ensures that users’ data are not sold without their permission, and users earn something from it.

DeHealth is not just a digital system. It is a solution to a problem plaguing the healthcare industry for years. It is the future of healthcare, where technology and humanity work together to save lives and make the world a better place.

How does everything work? What stage is it currently in?

We have created a Web3 and AI-based Web dApp and Health Data Storage for B2B2C.

Users can share, manage and monetize their data directly in the dApp.

A person creates his digital medical card in our application, fills this card with his medical information from doctors or laboratories, and this data is available 24/7 to our users in any corner of the world. Also, a person can earn income by sharing anonymous data with research centers, scientists, pharmaceutical companies, and other data consumers. The medical data market exceeded tens of billions of dollars just last year.

Health data is precious and necessary for a variety of companies. For example, Pfizer or Bayer is launching a new drug on the market, and they need information about the results of treatment or the course of a certain disease of a selected group of people, or the L’Oréal brand is creating a new cosmetic product and looking for a selection of information about the dermatological features of a person.

Win-win strategy, Patients can finally be rewarded for their data, advancing science and improving medical developments.

Within six months of the release of the web application, DeHealth has a global presence in more than 80 countries and serves more than 70,000 people. Also, the company has a large and engaged audience of over 130,000 people across various social platforms. The main regions now are Asia, Europe, and the USA.

Medical data is encrypted using a private key so the user can upload this data to the blockchain storage. Working with health data, the most sensitive and valuable asset in the healthcare industry, DeHealth prioritizes data storage security, adhering to data protection and security standards, including the Data Protection Act, GDPR, HIPAA, and the Data Protection Act.

Each of our users is an investor. He brings his medical and lifestyle data to the DeHealth Data Bank and receives royalties from selling his data.

With the user’s consent, his depersonalized (anonymous) data enters the DeHealth blockchain network, where clients get access using API calls. The data is sold in data sets. It means that the user cannot sell their medical profile separately. The more data the user has collected in his profile (Dehealth ID), the more likely it is that this data will be in demand from customers.

Dehealth pays the user in tokens for his data, converted into real money/income.

Tell us about the business model.

DeHealth is a dApp with a paid subscription (currently in beta ) that works as a marketplace and acts as an intermediary between people (data owners) and organizations (data consumers). DeHealth receives a percentage of the data sales to users whenever a person’s anonymized health data is sold.

Who is your audience?

DeHealth’s audience is very diverse and covers 80 countries around the world. These are ordinary people from different regions and users of different genders, ages, preferences, etc. They all have one common goal – to be healthy and live their best life.

Since we have a diverse audience, we spend a lot of time on UX/UI so that complex deep technologies are not visible to the user. And people with different knowledge about technology could use our developments without hindrance. We also actively use gamification in creating a medical ID by our users. To do this, we created the DHLT token, which, in addition to the main functions, is a motivation to fill out medical questionnaires or add new medical data to your profile.

The team – how many people, who is in the team, and who is responsible for what? Who are you looking for, or are you planning to expand?

We have a small and decentralized team of 19 employees in 8 countries. We also have a starboard of advisors – ex-Google, ex-Meta, experts from BigPharma – Novartis, Merck, Roche, crypto-experts, legal experts, and others.

Investments – how much have you invested, or are you planning the next rounds?

Previous rounds:

1. Investments of founders. (2019-2022) our funds.

2. Pre-seed. $1,600,000 (in DHLT tokens)

We are preparing for a $4,000,000 Seed round to grow our users to 1 million worldwide and attract more data providers and customers to buy medical data.

What’s next – what do you plan to do/achieve soon? What is your global goal?

We plan to close the Seed round in the coming months. We have already started communication with several venture funds, as after our many wins at various summits in the field of Digital Medicine and web3, such as 4YFN/ MWC 2023, MedTech, Paris Blockchain Week, Web Summit, and others, we are getting a lot of interest in of the project.

In the coming year, we will focus on scaling, as we have found technological and marketing solutions that allow us to quickly attract millions of users, customers, and data providers.

We have a new hypothesis about monetizing our data providers (clinics, laboratories), which we plan to protest soon.

Our global goal is to make a product that will benefit billions of people in health preservation and earn a trillion dollars from it.
