In the fast-paced world of entertainment, where careers often span across various industries, one name stands out for her exceptional versatility and unwavering passion. Renowned for her prowess in modeling, TV presenting, acting, and music, Victoria Silvstedt has captivated audiences worldwide. With an insatiable thirst for creativity and a determination to control her destiny, she has forged a path that reflects her unique style and unwavering dedication.

“I always credit my disciplined upbringing doing sports very young, competing in the Swedish junior ski team, and also show jumping with my horses. I even played hockey with the guys in school, so it definitely gave me the courage to never give up or be a sore loser”.

In an exclusive interview, we delve into the fascinating journey of this multifaceted star, exploring Victoria’s ventures into the world of finance and the driving forces behind her success.

Audiences know you for your multifaceted career, working in modeling, TV presenting, acting, and music. Creativity appears to be your primary inspiration for all these experiences, while passion guides your choices. How do you select your projects and steer your career? Is it a matter of following your heart or seizing opportunities?

Since I’ve been working for so many years as a model, TV presenter, and actress, I’m at the stage of my life where I love to decide and control my image and career myself. I focus a lot on charity work and also on my own brand… like licensing my name for a vegan makeup foundation “Base of Sweden,” and also, lately, a collaboration with Marli dresses for my own Wild collection… beach kaftans, skirts, and the Victoria’s shaping bodysuit. I love fashion, and I’m still very active on Instagram, which also keeps me busy. I follow my heart and enjoy life to the fullest.

You are also a meticulous investor with a diverse portfolio. What sparked your interest in finance? Do you enjoy taking risks in general?

What I like the most these days is trading on the financial market. It gives me the extra adrenaline kick, and it’s a real challenge. I started taking control of my own trading after the bank crash in 2009 when I lost lots of money being invested in various funds that the bank put me in. Since then, I have taken control of my own portfolio. I started making lots of money in Europe between TV and movies in Italy, TV hosting in France… UK and Sweden were also my workplaces. I bought the dollar with all my euro when the USD was at its lowest ever, then bought it back at the high. I had a huge profit, and that’s how I got hooked on trading Forex. Then I also got into buying short and long-term bonds with a great return, and also some stocks. It’s really addicting and exciting. I don’t take so much risk today since it’s so easy to place the cash on-time deposit. I also own some real estate in Stockholm and Miami.

You authored an autobiography that was published in 2010. Considering it has been 13 years since then, do you plan to release an updated book?

Regarding a biography, I just released one in Sweden… Let’s see if I will do it in English at some point.

Victoria is renowned for being multilingual, fluent in four languages, which allows her to work and perform in all of them. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, it became a crucial approach for success:

“Speaking a lot of languages helped me in my career for sure. I did many Italian movies and hosted TV shows, and in France as well. I got my big break in the US thanks to speaking with a perfect American accent in TV and movies. So being multilingual definitely helps”.

With your extensive experience working in various countries and even shifting between them every week, where do you find a home today? Where do you feel most productive?

My home is where the heart is. My official residence has been here in Monaco since 2011. I also have a winter home in Miami. I just sold my place in NY. I also have a house in Sweden. I love to travel a lot, but I found Monaco an amazing place to live. Stress-free and safe, amazing weather, and the location doesn’t get better. The food is amazing, and it’s a great place for sports and outdoor activities. I love it here.
