On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the O2 Arena in London will turn into a true volcano of emotions. Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley will step into the ring, and this fight promises to be one of the most dramatic events in the heavyweight division in recent memory. At stake is the chance to face the undisputed world champion, Oleksandr Usyk.
New Zealand believes in its fighter. 33-year-old Parker is a former WBO world champion with an impressive career, including victories over top opponents like Deontay Wilder and Martin Bakole. At the weigh-in, he came in at 119 kg, nearly 9 kg heavier than Wardley.
“I’m here to show real boxing. I’ll give him lesson after lesson,” Parker said at the pre-fight press conference. His experience, technique, and endurance make him a serious favorite, but that doesn’t guarantee an easy win.
30-year-old Wardley remains undefeated (19-0-1, 18 KOs) and has already proven himself as a dangerous fighter with a powerful punch. In his last fight, he knocked out Justis Huni, showing that he is ready for major challenges.
“I’m here to win. Parker is experienced, but I’m not afraid to go forward and take every opportunity,” says the Brit. His aggressive style and knockout power make the fight unpredictable.Everything at Stake: The Chance to Face Usyk
The winner will earn the right to face Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed world championship. For Parker, this is a chance to return to the top of the heavyweight division. For Wardley, it’s an opportunity to break into the elite.
If you’re not at the arena, the fight will be available online via DAZN. The main event is expected to start around 10:00 PM BST. A subscription costs £14.99, allowing everyone to feel the atmosphere of this spectacular evening from home.
Parker’s experience versus Wardley’s strength and youth. There’s no clear favorite: Parker knows how to control a fight and withstand pressure, while Wardley is capable of landing a game-changing punch. Most likely, we are in for a fight where every minute counts, and fans will be on the edge of their seats until the final bell.
