Messi’s Bodyguard Ready to Step into the Ring with Logan Paul

Lionel Messi’s bodyguard, former Navy SEAL Yassine Chekho, has expressed his willingness to take on blogger Logan Paul in a fight. This offer comes after Paul challenged Messi to a match regarding their legal dispute.

In 2024, Lionel Messi launched a new hydration drink called Mas+, which aims to compete with the product PRIME, created by Paul and his partner KSI two years ago. Many observers noted the striking similarity in the packaging of both drinks, and Mas+ filed a lawsuit, accusing PRIME of brand infringement.

Recently, Logan Paul, who participated in the Sidemen FC match at the packed Wembley Stadium, challenged the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner. “You copied us, and everyone saw it,” Paul declared. He suggested resolving their differences in the ring: “If you can’t beat the best, you have to become the best. But this is illegal. We will defend our rights.”

With a height of 6’1″ compared to Messi’s 5’7″, a fight between the two seems unlikely. However, Yassine Chekho, Messi’s imposing bodyguard, is ready to accept the challenge.

“Messi doesn’t even know who Logan Paul is,” Chekho said during a break in his training. “If Logan really wants a fight, he can face me instead of a football player.” Paul, 29 years old and with over 23 million subscribers on YouTube, began boxing in 2018 and won against KSI in a professional bout in 2019.
