Finance, Technology, and Sports Unite in Dubai

In late October 2025, the international financial conglomerate MultiBank Group and global sports icon Khabib Nurmagomedov announced the launch of a new joint venture, MultiBank Khabib LLC, which aims to create the world’s first regulated tokenized sports ecosystem.

According to the partners, the project involves multi-billion-dollar investments and will be headquartered in Dubai, a city rapidly emerging as a global hub for blockchain innovation and digital assets.

A New Era for Sports and Finance

MultiBank Khabib LLC will merge sports, finance, and blockchain technology to build a platform where sports assets — from gyms and franchises to licensing and brands — can be tokenized and made accessible to global investors within a fully regulated framework.

At the heart of this new ecosystem lies the MBG Token, which will serve as the main instrument for transactions, investments, and community participation across all future initiatives.

MultiBank Group has secured exclusive rights to develop and promote brands associated with Khabib Nurmagomedov, including Khabib Gyms, Eagle FC, Gameplan, and other ventures. The plan includes the creation of around 30 sports facilities under Khabib’s name worldwide in the coming years.

“We Are Building a New Model for the Sports Business”

Naser Taher, Founder and Chairman of MultiBank Group, described the partnership as a global milestone:

“We are standing at the edge of a new era. From the UAE, we are shaping a new model for the sports business — a regulated tokenization of real-world assets. This is not just an investment in sports; it’s a global transformation of how business and finance interact.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov emphasized the shared values behind the initiative:

“Our partnership is built on strength, respect, and discipline. Together with MultiBank, we are creating a project that unites millions of people around the world and opens a new chapter — where sport becomes a space for opportunity and participation.”

Technology Meets the Real World

MultiBank Group is no stranger to tokenization. Earlier in 2025, the company signed a $3 billion deal with MAG Lifestyle Development and Mavryk to tokenize real-estate assets in Dubai.

Now, the group is moving into the sports industry — blending financial infrastructure with cultural influence. With Khabib’s global brand and MultiBank’s institutional expertise, the project has the potential to reshape how fans and investors engage with sports.

How It Will Work

  • The ecosystem will allow for the tokenization of sports assets, enabling:
  • fractional ownership of gyms, arenas, and sports facilities;
  • issuance of fan tokens and exclusive digital rights;
  • investments in sports brands and merchandise;
  • governance participation through tokenized voting mechanisms.

The venture is positioned as the first fully regulated tokenized sports ecosystem of its kind — a key differentiator in an era when most digital asset initiatives still operate outside traditional oversight.

Opportunities and Challenges

Industry analysts believe the MultiBank–Khabib partnership could become a new global standard for merging sports and finance, especially as tokenization and Web3 expand into traditional sectors.

However, experts also note that regulation, compliance, and technological complexity remain potential challenges.

“This is an extremely ambitious step. Regulated tokenization of sports assets is still a new frontier, and its success will determine whether this model can be replicated globally,” said Saeed Al-Khatimi, an analyst at Dubai Blockchain Hub.

A New Chapter for Khabib

For Khabib Nurmagomedov, this initiative marks another evolution in his post-UFC career. After retiring from professional fighting, the undefeated champion has focused on business and education, launching multiple sports and community projects.

Now, he is stepping into sports entrepreneurship on a global scale.

“I want sports to be more than competition — I want it to be a platform that connects people, helps them grow, and allows them to invest in the future,” Khabib said.

Looking Ahead

If MultiBank Khabib LLC delivers on its vision, it could redefine how sports are financed, owned, and experienced — turning real-world assets into regulated digital opportunities for fans and investors alike.

Finance, sports, and technology have long been converging — and now, that convergence has a new name: MultiBank Khabib LLC, born in Dubai, powered by innovation, and inspired by the values of a champion.
