On St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican, the first major pop concert titled “Grace for the World” took place, headlined by Pharrell Williams, who also served as one of the show’s directors. The rapper called for solidarity, unity, and grace for humanity.
Performing alongside him were renowned artists including Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, John Legend, Teddy Swims, and Karol G. A special highlight was the unexpected return of the hip-hop duo Clipse, consisting of brothers Gene and Terrence Thornton (No Malice and Pusha T).
The musical performances were accompanied by a stunning drone show, where 3,500 illuminated drones created images in the sky, including a portrait of the recently deceased Pope Francis, a dove of peace, and the hands from Michelangelo’s famous painting “The Creation of Adam.”

The concert “Grace for the World” served as the culmination of the third “World Meeting for the Brotherhood of Peoples,” where religious leaders, politicians, and scholars discussed important issues such as peace, climate, justice, migration, and education. In discussions about artificial intelligence, Black Eyed Peas frontman, rapper Will.i.am, participated. He has been involved in AI since 2012 and currently leads the company FYI.AI. He described the event in the Vatican as a “safe space” for brainstorming on AI and emphasized that governments need to keep pace with modern challenges and regulate this field to ensure societal safety without hindering progress.
