According to SPA, in 2022 alone, the country welcomed a staggering 93.5 million visits. This remarkable achievement can be attributed to the Saudi Tourism Authority’s tireless efforts to offer unparalleled experiences and seamless travel journeys across the Kingdom’s diverse destinations.

The introduction of the instant e-visa is one among several groundbreaking initiatives launched by Saudi Arabia over the past year to enhance the visitor experience. Notably, the Saudi Tourism Authority collaborated with the Pilgrim Experience Program to create the Nusuk platform in 2022. Earlier this year, Saudi Arabia introduced the Stopover Visa, a groundbreaking initiative available to passengers traveling on SAUDIA. This visa, provided free of charge, enables visitors to stay in the country for up to 96 hours and is open to an even greater number of countries than the standard tourism e-visa.
