From selling Coca-Cola in a French schoolyard to brokering private jets, superyachts, and F1 hospitality for the world’s wealthiest — Lucien Ndabagera has rewritten the blueprint of modern luxury entrepreneurship. As the founder of Lund Group and Mon Avion, his journey spans continents, industries, and cultures, powered by relentless ambition and a global network of UHNWIs he built from scratch. Today, with nearly a million followers and a portfolio rooted in aviation, motorsports, and elite travel, Ndabagera stands as one of Monaco’s most dynamic young visionaries. In this exclusive interview, he shares the philosophy, resilience, and instinct that transformed a dreamer into a global force.

From selling Coca-Cola and candy at 12 to building a global luxury network—what inner drive has fueled your entrepreneurial journey from the very beginning?

Since I was a kid, I always had this fire inside me — this idea that life could be bigger than the environment I was born into. Selling Coca-Cola at 12 wasn’t about money; it was about proving to myself that I could create something from nothing. That same drive still guides me today: freedom. The freedom to build, to move, to create a life on my own terms.

You’ve mentioned a pivotal trip to Dubai in 2013 that sparked your intrigue in luxury concierge services. What was it about that experience that shifted your perspective?

Dubai opened my eyes. I saw a world where anything was possible if you had the right network. I was just a kid from Burundi and France walking through hotels and lounges where billionaires made decisions casually. It made me think, “If they can do it, why not me?” It wasn’t the luxury itself — it was the access, the connections, the way doors opened.

Your first Ferrari sale at 21 became the foundation of your luxury hospitality and private aviation ventures. What did that moment teach you about high-value transactions and trust-building?

That deal changed my life. I learned that in high-value transactions, people don’t buy the product first — they buy you. Your energy, your confidence, your integrity. The client trusted me before he trusted the car. That moment taught me that trust is the real currency in luxury. When someone feels safe with you, everything else follows.

Lund Group has grown into a premier lifestyle brand serving UHNWIs worldwide. What was your original vision for the company, and how has it evolved over the past decade?

My original vision was simple: make people feel taken care of. Over time, it became bigger — creating a world where clients don’t just purchase a service; they join a lifestyle. Today, Lund Group is more than private jets or yachts; it’s about elevation, experiences, and relationships that last years. The vision evolved from service to legacy.

Launching The Arsenale Monaco during the F1 Grand Prix was a bold move. How do you approach combining passion for motorsport with strategic business expansion?

F1 is energy. It’s speed, precision, adrenaline — everything I love in business. Opening The Arsenale Monaco during the Grand Prix was natural for me. I follow my passions, but I calculate every move. Motorsport attracts the exact clientele we serve. So it wasn’t just bold — it was strategic alignment.

You travel around 10 months a year — how does this nomadic lifestyle shape your business perspective and personal growth?

Travel keeps me awake. It keeps me hungry. Every country teaches me something new about people, culture, negotiation, and opportunity. Being nomadic forces me to stay adaptable, and that’s my biggest strength in business. I feel alive when I’m on the move — it reminds me that life is happening right now, not tomorrow.

Social media has been central to your brand, with almost a million followers on Instagram. How do you balance authenticity with the aspirational image of luxury?

My life is my life — what you see is real. But I never try to force a lifestyle on people. I just share my journey, my wins, my failures, my moments.

Authenticity doesn’t mean showing everything; it means showing the truth. I keep it clean, positive, and inspiring because I want people to dream, not compare.

Your network now includes entrepreneurs, F1 drivers, footballers, and global investors. What is your personal philosophy for building and maintaining relationships with UHNWIs?

Be human. It sounds simple, but it’s rare. I treat everyone the same — whether they’re a billionaire or a waiter. People remember how you make them feel. With UHNWIs, it’s not about chasing; it’s about connection, trust, respect. And never wasting their time. Time is the real luxury.

You’ve spoken openly about facing financial failures early on. What was the hardest setback, and how did you turn it into a stepping stone for success?

Losing everything in my early 20s. I had to start again from zero more than once. The hardest part wasn’t the money — it was the pride. But that taught me humility and resilience. I realized that your value isn’t your bank account. It’s your mindset. Every failure sharpened me for the opportunities I have today.

The luxury sector is competitive and constantly evolving. What strategies help you stay ahead while keeping your services truly exclusive?

Staying ahead means staying close to people. I listen. I observe. I move fast. And I never try to be everything for everyone. Exclusivity comes from intention — knowing exactly who your clients are and giving them the best experience possible. Not more, not less.

You’re now exploring opportunities in crypto, Web3, and collaborations with luxury brands. How do you see technology reshaping the future of elite lifestyle experiences?

Technology is removing friction. It’s creating new ways to access luxury, to verify authenticity, to personalize experiences. Crypto and Web3 bring transparency and speed — two things UHNWIs care about. I see a future where luxury is even more seamless and more global than it already is. And I want Lund Group to be part of that evolution.

If you had to distill your journey into one guiding principle that defines success in luxury entrepreneurship, what would it be?

Never forget where you come from — and never limit where you can go. Stay humble, move fast, trust your intuition, and always put people first. That’s how you build something timeless.
