From October 20 to 22, right in the heart of Monaco at the Grimaldi Forum, one of the biggest events in the sports industry took place — SPORTEL Monaco 2025. This international conference has long established itself as the go-to gathering for key players in sports media and technology.
This year, over 70 companies from around the world participated — including ESPN, NFL, LaLiga, Kings League, NHL, and many more. With the support of Prince Albert II, the forum once again became the hub for discussing trends and challenges facing the sports business today.

One of the main topics was the role of artificial intelligence in creating sports content. Attendees talked about how technology helps produce more personalized and engaging material, while also opening new opportunities for monetization.
There were also discussions around modern streaming approaches and investing in sports — crucial topics for anyone looking to grow and retain audiences in a rapidly changing media landscape.

On October 20, the SPORTEL Awards ceremony took place — an annual event recognizing the best sports videos and projects. This year, 22 nominees from 9 countries competed for the top honors. Beyond the formal ceremony, guests enjoyed meetings with famous athletes, public screenings, and informal networking.

Special attention was given to the Sharjah Sports Channel delegation from the UAE, which emphasized the importance of the forum for building international connections and sharing expertise. SPORTEL is not just about technology — it’s about the people who drive sports forward.

Loris Menoni, Executive Director of SPORTEL Monaco, noted that the event reflects all the changes and innovations happening in the industry. According to him, SPORTEL remains a key platform for discussing how sports and media will evolve going forward.
SPORTEL Monaco 2025 proved once again that Monaco is where the future of the sports industry is shaped. It’s where connections are made that help push sports forward and open new horizons.
