A significant step in this direction is the appointment of Chus Bueno as Managing Director of Basketball.
With nearly 30 years of experience in professional sports management, particularly in basketball, Chus Bueno is well-equipped to lead this initiative. Before joining DAZN, he played a key role in advancing the strategic direction for Legends in the Iberian market. His impressive background includes serving as Vice President of NBA Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as Managing Director for NBA Spain. Additionally, he has held important positions in the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) and the Association of Professional Basketball Players (ABP).
In his new role, Chus Bueno will be responsible for crafting and executing a strategy aimed at solidifying DAZN as the premier destination for basketball fans worldwide. DAZN has already established itself as a global home for sports, with industry-leading rights in football, boxing, tennis, and motorsports, alongside partnerships with organizations such as the NFL, PGA, and FIFA.
The launch of DAZN Basketball builds on DAZN’s long-term partnership with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and will consolidate existing basketball offerings under a single business brand.

The platform will continue to enhance its services by providing basketball fans with real-time updates, news, social interactions, and live game broadcasts, partnering with local leagues around the world. DAZN is making significant investments in basketball, offering a wide range of content. Through its partnership with FIBA, which includes the Courtside 1891 service, DAZN will stream live FIBA games, including World Cup tournaments and continental cup competitions. Users will also be able to access live and on-demand broadcasts of regional tournaments, such as the Basketball Champions League and the Intercontinental Cup, as well as top national leagues.
In various markets, DAZN will provide content from leading basketball leagues, including the National Basketball Association (NBA), Women’s NBA, Super League Basketball, and many others, highlighting its commitment to becoming the global home for basketball fans.
