KONA VILLAGE, A ROSEWOOD RESORT – HAWAII

Following a complete renovation, Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort reopened its doors to visitors on July 1, 2023. Designed in the 1960s by explorer Johnno Jackson, the resort is known for its palm thatch roof hales and tranquil environment. The renovated resort, located near Kona International Airport, has 150 independent guest hales decorated with local-inspired décor, breathtaking vistas, and a sense of calm.

Enjoy one-of-a-kind eating experiences at various venues, including the legendary Shipwreck Bar and Talk Story Bar. The resort also has new recreational services such as Sense, A Rosewood Spa, a contemporary fitness facility, and various pools and tennis courts for relaxation and enjoyment.

AMBIENTE, A LANDSCAPE HOTEL – ARIZONA

Ambiente Sedona is the first Landscape Hotel in Sedona, Arizona, that debuted in early February. The resort’s 40 cubed-shaped Atriums are raised on steel piers and feature floor-to-ceiling bronze-tinted glass, matte-charcoal, and rusted metal that blends flawlessly with the red rock terrain. The glass reflects the surroundings as the sun sets, producing unique mirrored silhouettes. The Atriums have a modern and simple design that celebrates the natural splendor of one of the world’s most beautiful locales.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which will bring a touch of Miami tastes to the Strip, is expected to debut in December 2023. It’s a destination in and of itself, with around 3,644 rooms and suites, gaming areas, top-tier restaurants, shops, pools, vibrant day and night activities, wellness choices, and adequate conference spaces. The hotel, casino, dining, and entertainment are all harmoniously integrated around the building’s structure, ensuring simple access. Park Hyatt Los Angeles at Oceanwide Plaza, a new luxurious hotel featuring top-notch suites, superb cuisine, compelling artworks, and the hallmark Park Hyatt service, offers a taste of luxury. The hotel will seamlessly connect to The Collection at Oceanwide Plaza, a bustling retail and amenity destination, and will include 184 rooms, including 34 suites, as well as conference spaces, a spa, wellness facilities, and a pool.

While development began in 2015 and was halted in 2019, it is expected to restart in 2023 with the earliest possible opening date of 2025, offering a refined stay in the center of Los Angeles.

The Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin officially opened on February 1, 2023, and is now ready to greet guests! BLUEBIRD LAKE PLACID – NEW YORK

Experience the allure of Bluebird Lake Placid, located in Upstate New York’s Adirondack Mountains. This resort is undergoing significant renovations throughout the year but already opened its first phase on January 11, 2023. It has 90 rooms and suites with natural materials, relaxing colors, and well-chosen furniture that match the year-round mountain activities. It has a distinctive design inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese mountain elements.

Accommodations range from conventional kings to the “Party Friends Suite,” which is ideal for large groups. Après Only, a bar and tasting room infused with 1980s nostalgia and vintage New York ski culture, is also located in the lodge.
