Singapore Airlines soared to the top, claiming the prestigious first place, while Qatar Airways left its mark with an impressive three awards. Qatar Airways’ exceptional Business Class offering was recognized with three category wins, solidifying its position as a powerhouse in the industry. The coveted titles bestowed upon Qatar Airways were the World’s Best Business Class, World’s Best Business Class Lounge (Al Mourjan Lounge), and World’s Best Business Class Lounge Dining. Adding to its triumphs, Qatar Airways also claimed the title of the Best Middle East airline.
Elated by the recognition, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, expressed his delight, stating,

The Middle East showcased its aviation prowess as Skytrax unveiled its list of the 10 best airlines in the region for 2023. Qatar Airways once again reigned supreme, facing fierce competition from other prominent high-profile brands. The top 10 Middle Eastern airlines for 2023 included

Notably, Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, made an impressive leap in the Skytrax airline rankings, securing the 23rd spot in the World’s Best Airlines 2023 list based on traveler votes. SAUDIA’s significant advancements in these rankings over the years, moving from 82nd to 51st in 2017 and then to 26th in 2021, underline its commitment to excellence. This accomplishment aligns with SAUDIA’s aspirations to contribute to the national strategies for transportation, logistics services, and the aviation sector while also enhancing its services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and supporting tourism through diverse events.
