SOHO HOUSE MEXICO CITY – MEXICO

The first Soho House in Latin America will open in Mexico City in September 2023 within the magnificent Baroque historic home. Members and guests alike can enjoy its facilities, which include four unique bedrooms. The home offers a bustling social scene with three bars, including a tequila bar, an underground vinyl listening area, a restaurant, and an appealing patio with outdoor dining. The interior has handcrafted furniture made in Mexico, vintage pieces, and an art collection of over 100 works by Mexican artists.

This Soho House, anchored by an outdoor pool and a bright Pool House bar surrounded by green plants, is ready to become a one-of-a-kind sanctuary in Mexico City.

THE PENINSULA ISTANBUL – TURKEY

The Peninsula Istanbul opened its doors to guests on February 14, 2023, establishing itself as a captivating new hotel. This 180-room haven is housed in four interconnected buildings that were previously a ferry port. The hotel, located on the Bosphorus beachfront, has a beautiful outdoor patio, a refreshing outdoor pool, and a private boat dock for guest arrivals. The Peninsula Suite, located in the historic Karaköy area, is a prominent feature, filled with Turkish textile details. Inside, visitors may relax in a traditional Turkish bath (hammam). The apartment also has a 1,300-square-foot private patio with a pool, solarium, and breathtaking views of the Bosphorus and Istanbul’s mesmerizing skyline.

HOTEL LA PALMA – CAPRI, ITALY

Owners of Cannes Film Festival’s elite temple, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the German luxury brand Oetker Collection, has woven its magic into Capri’s first hotel. Originally built in 1822, this historic masterpiece is now the breathtaking and exclusive Hotel La Palma, with 50 superb rooms and suites. The hotel, located only steps from the famous Piazzetta, has three restaurants and bars, a private beach club, a freshly created pool deck with views of Via Vittorio Emanuele’s stores, and a trademark spa.

With the creative touch of interior designer Francis Sultana, Oetker Collection makes its Italian debut, restoring Hotel La Palma’s place at the center of the island’s social scene.

THE ST. REGIS KANAI RIVIERA MAYA – MEXICO

The St. Regis Kanai Riviera Maya opened its doors in March 2023, nestled inside the gated 680-acre Kanai area, within a 10-minute drive from downtown Playa del Carmen and near the Sian Ka’an Reserve. The seaside hotel has 124 rooms and suites, as well as 32 villas with private pools. Its one-of-a-kind circular form, composed of white concrete and semi-transparent crystal, floats above a beautiful mangrove forest, with elevated pathways connecting it. The resort has direct access to two miles of gorgeous white sand beach and butler service is available in all hotel levels.

The W Sydney is expected to open in October 2023. With its distinctive curving shape nestled along Darling Harbour, W Sydney is expected to fill the city with vibrancy, elegantly integrating W Hotels’ signature luxury with Sydney’s cultural spirit. As the world’s largest W hotel, it will serve as the flagship opening for the boundary-pushing luxury brand. With 585 guestrooms, suites, and studio suites, as well as a two-story rooftop bar, a heated infinity pool, a spa, a gym, an all-day dining restaurant, and a bar, the hotel is the ultimate day-to-night social haven and a stylish hideaway.

Discover the lure of Grenada’s Six Senses La Sagesse, a combination of Caribbean village style and a stunning waterfront location. The resort’s projected launch date has been pushed back to early 2024, from late 2023. This amazing getaway features 56 guest rooms and 12 villas that flawlessly integrate traditional architecture with the natural beauty of the island. As the Caribbean’s first Six Senses, it features exceptional anti-aging spa treatments reached by gondola, as well as a welcoming Alchemy Bar. Within the wide nature, activities include water sports, fitness walks, yoga, and woodland bathing. The emphasis is on sustainability, as seen by plastic-free spas and restaurants, garden-sourced meals, and a dedication to obtaining local ingredients.

SON BUNYOLA HOTEL – MALLORCA, SPAIN

Son Bunyola Hotel is Virgin Limited Edition’s latest gem, which has been open since June 2023. This boutique hotel is located on Mallorca’s prestigious 1200-acre Son Bunyola estate, which is owned by Sir Richard Branson. It features three private villas and a rebuilt 16th-century manor house. The hotel, which is surrounded by citrus and olive trees, exudes a regional charm with trendy interiors and unique features. The ancient olive press now houses a superb restaurant, a distinctive apartment in the defensive tower, and an infinity pool on the historic terrace. Son Bunyola Hotel offers a spectacular Mallorcan experience with spa treatment rooms, tennis courts, and outdoor activities such as hiking and bicycling in the UNESCO-listed Tramuntana Mountains.

Moxy Tromsø is the most recent addition to Marriott’s Moxy Hotels in Northern Norway which opened during spring 2023. This 208-room hotel is located in Tromsø, which is famed for its breathtaking winter landscapes and spectacular Northern Light shows, as well as the midnight sun and 24-hour sunlight. The front desk is located on the 11th floor, where guests may relax with a ‘Got Moxy’ drink while admiring the views. The hotel’s design, inspired by Tromsø’s natural beauty, mimics the surrounding mountains, sea, and fjords, with a color palette reminiscent of traditional local attire. The 208 thoughtfully planned bedrooms have 55-inch TVs, comfortable mattresses, and motion-activated LED guidelights.

Moxy Troms is your entry point to Arctic adventures such as husky visits, whale safaris, and Northern Lights viewing.

The Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis opened its doors in 2023, marking the luxury brand’s first foray into Egypt. The hotel has 252 elegant rooms and suites and is located in the busy Heliopolis area, less than 10 minutes from Cairo International Airport. The grand lobby proudly displays famous elements such as the Waldorf Astoria Lobby Clock and the legendary Peacock Alley, revealing the brand’s eternal grandeur. The hotel boasts the iconic Waldorf Astoria Spa, a serene pool surrounded by manicured gardens, a fitness facility, and various event spaces including nine conference rooms and ballrooms that can accommodate up to 2,000 people.

HILTON LXR NAWRAS ISLAND – ABU DHABI, UAE

LXR Hotels & Resorts’ Al Nawras Island will make its debut in the UAE capital later this year. The resort features 80 spacious and modern beach and water villas set beside a golf course. A large two-bedroom Royal Villa is available for further luxury. There’s a wonderful gym, a fitness studio, and three gorgeous swimming pools, one of which is inside. There are also tennis and paddle courts, a private marina, an exclusive beach club, and a luxurious spa at the resort. The kids’ club, children’s pool, and splash pad will appeal to families. Two distinct restaurants with outdoor seating, two bars, and a café with a health focus are among the dining options. Al Nawras Island provides the grandeur of LXR Hotels & Resorts to the UAE capital.

The Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah is a one-of-a-kind hotel in the Muslim world. Its launch date has been pushed back to 2024 from 2023. This magnificent hotel is intended to provide a tranquil and luxury retreat for visitors embarking on a momentous life experience, such as a pilgrimage. It has 1,033 guest rooms and 93 villas overlooking the Grand Mosque, as well as different dining options, conference spaces, an executive lounge, a gymnasium, and more than 90 retail stores inside the complex. It’s a location where guests may find solace and significance as they start on one of life’s most important journeys.

After being announced in 2008, the Park Hyatt Marrakech is finally set to open its doors in the fall of 2023. It will offer 120 rooms with views of the Atlas Mountains as part of the Al Maaden residential and leisure complex. The rooms will be organized around common courtyards, with each room having its own private courtyard with a water feature. There will also be 45 individual villas with a living room, dining room, fireplace, and private pool within the resort. 

The resort will include stunning gardens, distinctive design elements, and two pools: one near the main restaurant and another with an infinity edge overlooking Kyle Phillips’ golf course.
