EMERGE: Saudi Arabia’s Creative Marvels Unveiled in Paris

For the very first time, Saudi Arabia’s most talented up-and-coming creatives will unveil their extraordinary work to the public, offering a glimpse into the vibrant and rapidly growing fashion industry of the Kingdom. From June 23 to July 1, 8 Rue de Francs Bourgeois will transform into a haven for fashion enthusiasts and art aficionados, immersing them in the captivating tapestry of Saudi Arabia’s contemporary arts and fashion scene.

EMERGE is the brainchild of the Saudi Fashion Commission and MoCX, the Saudi Ministry of Culture’s General Department of Innovation, in collaboration with the Saudi Visual Arts Commission, the Saudi Culinary Arts Commission, and the Saudi Music Commission. This collaborative effort will bring together various activities and exhibits, showcasing the diverse talents of Saudi Arabia’s fashion designers, artists, and musicians throughout the eight-day extravaganza.

Within the enchanting space of EMERGE, visitors will have the privilege of encountering 15 designers from the Fashion Commission’s prestigious Saudi 100 Brands initiative. These exceptional creators will present a curated selection of their designs, enticing guests with the opportunity to acquire exclusive pieces that embody the essence of Saudi fashion. But EMERGE is more than just a fashion affair. It is an immersive journey that transcends boundaries, inviting attendees to explore the realms of perfumery, art, gastronomy, and music, providing an all-encompassing experience of Saudi Arabia’s rich creative landscape.

The EMERGE pop-up event signifies a remarkable milestone for the Saudi fashion industry, illuminating its astonishing growth and extraordinary talent within the Kingdom. The Saudi 100 Brands program, spearheaded by the Fashion Commission, has played an instrumental role in empowering local designers and nurturing their fashion, luxury, and jewelry businesses. Since its launch in 2021, the program has provided invaluable support to Saudi creatives through masterclasses, workshops, mentorship sessions, and professional development opportunities. It has also enabled them to showcase their talent at prestigious fashion weeks in New York, Paris, and Milan. Spanning ten different categories, including ready-to-wear, modest fashion, and jewelry, the program has fostered a diverse community of designers, ranging from self-taught individuals to graduates from renowned international design schools.

To kick off this momentous occasion, an exclusive invite-only Emerge Fashion Show will take place on June 21, featuring the exquisite designs of renowned Saudi fashion brands such as Torba Studio, Hindamme, and Mazrood. The fashion show will be further elevated by captivating performances from the Saudi female rapper Beast and the beloved Riyadh group Jazzy Spa Sounds. It will be an evening of unparalleled artistry, where fashion, music, and culture intertwine to create an unforgettable spectacle.
