Audi AI:RACE Prototype

Step into the world of futuristic mobility as Audi Middle East debuts its latest innovation, the AI:RACE prototype, at the renowned Museum of the Future.

As part of their ongoing partnership, Audi brings this groundbreaking all-electric supercar to captivate car enthusiasts with its sleek design, powerful performance, and eco-friendly features. With a limited two-month display in the Tomorrow Today exhibition, the AI:RACE promises an unforgettable experience for visitors seeking a glimpse into the future of automotive engineering.

Innovative Design and Performance

The AI:RACE embraces an eco-friendly approach with its all-electric powertrain, designed to maximize efficiency without compromising on exhilarating performance. Its compact dimensions, measuring 4.53 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and only 1.15 meters in height, give it the appearance of a classic sports car. However, its power lies within the three electric motors, boasting a combined power output of up to 500 kW, which can temporarily surge to 570 kW for exceptional acceleration.

A highlight of the AI:RACE is its wireless charging capability using Audi Wireless Charging (AWC). The vehicle can be conveniently charged while parked by employing a charging pad with an integral coil, eliminating the hassle of traditional charging methods. This innovative feature showcases Audi’s dedication to integrating advanced technology into their vehicles seamlessly.

Fusion of Racetrack and Road Performance

The AI:RACE perfectly balances racetrack performance and road practicality. Unlike traditional sports cars, it eschews complex systems for piloted driving and comfort features, focusing on providing an optimal driving experience. The driver’s seat and cockpit are integrated into a sliding inner monocoque shell, allowing a monoposto-style setup ideal for solo driving on the racetrack. Moreover, the unique by-wire design of the steering wheel and pedals eliminates the need for a mechanical connection, enhancing precision and control.

With a torque output of up to 830 Nm, the AI:RACE accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just over two seconds, delivering an exhilarating performance that surpasses expectations. Furthermore, its range extends over 500 kilometers on a single charge, making it a practical option for both short and long journeys. Thanks to its 800-volt charging design, the battery can be fully charged in a remarkable 15 minutes, providing a swift and efficient charging experience.

Inspired Aerodynamics and Futuristic Styling

Drawing inspiration from motorsports, the AI:RACE showcases a seamless blend of aerodynamic efficiency and captivating aesthetics. Its sleek profile, gently sloping roofline, and almost vertical rear window create an unmistakably sporty silhouette. The car’s rear is adorned with a red band of lights, reminiscent of Audi’s racing heritage, while the raised rear diffuser enhances downforce for improved stability. The hood of the AI:RACE connects the accentuated fenders, dipping deeply to optimize aerodynamics and project a striking presence on the road.
